During concluding fnction Mr. Arun Desai, Chairman of Samstha welcomed the gathering. Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr. Damodar Naik, Sarpanch of Veling-Kunkoli-Priol Pachayat. Volunteers were felicitated at the hands of Mr. Ashok Mahambre, Chief Referee & Secretary – Goa Table Tennis Asssociation. Other degnitories on the dais were Mr. Audhut Kamat, Vice-Chairman, Sudan Kunkolienkar, Secretary, Mr. Sagar Sakordekar, Tournament Co-ordinator and Mrs. Mrs. Mitasha Aigal, Headmistress of Wagle High School. Prizes were awarded at the hands of Chief Guest and other dignitaries on the dairs. All prizes were sponsored by Madhavrao Dhawalikar Trust.

Chief Guest congratulated Shree Mangirish Vidyadyini Samstha for conducting the event for five consecutive years and assured full support in future through Panchayat and Local MLA. Mr. Sandip Pagi, PE Teacher of Wagle High School, was instrumental in conducting the entire tournament very efficiently and was felicitated at the hands of Chairman of the Samstha.. Mr. Sagar Sakordekar, Tournament Co-ordinator & Secretary of Samstha proposed vote of thanks. The entire function was compeered by Mrs. Sangeeta Khawte, Teacher from Wagle High School.

Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament at Mangeshi

Shree Mangirish Vidyadayini Samstha, Mangeshi is organising 5th All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament from Friday, 27^th July to Sunday, 29^th July 2012 at Desai Pratishsthan Hall, Wagle High School, Mangeshi.

The following categories are open for participation:

Friday, 27^th July –     Mini-Cadet Boys        at 3.30 pm

Cadet Boys                 at 4.00 pm

Cadet Girls                  at 4.30 pm

Sub-junior Girls           at 5.00 pm

Saturday, 28^th July - Sub-junior Boys – Singles       at 4.00 pm

Sub-junior Boys – Doubles     at 4.00 pm

Sunday 29^th July        All finals from 4.30 pm

BPS Major Ranking TT Tournament

B. P. S. Sports Club will kick start the Table Tennis season for 2012 by organizing its annual BPS All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis tournament for boys and girls from 17th to 21st July 2012 in various categories at the BPS Table Tennis Hall , Margao.

Events will be held in the following individual categories for boys and girls:

Mini- Cadet U-10 (Born on or after 01-01-2003)

Cadet U-12 (Born on or after 01-01-2001)

Sub-Junior U-15 (Born on or after 01-01-1998)

Junior U-18 (Born on or after 01-01-1995)

Ladies and Men.

All Finals on Saturday, 21st July 2012 from 5 .00 p.m. onwards.

Players are requested to submit their entries via SMS only to Mr. Shashank Shirwaikar – 9422443366 ( 10 a.m. to 12 noon & 5 p.m. to 7 p. m), Mr. Lenie do Rosario -9822176086, Mr. Mahambre - 9763817905, or submit personally to the Club Office, latest by 6.00pm on Saturday 14th July 2012. Draw will be conducted on , Sunday, 15th July 2012 at 11.00am. All the respective coaches are requested to be present for the draw.

Players are informed to check for guidelines , timings of games in advance at the Club office or on www.ttgoa.in.

Note: As per the TTFI rules the Sub-Junior category and the Junior Category eligibility has been changed from this year to 01-01- 1998 and 01-01-1995 respectively
